Announcing the proVizor Telehealth Community Project
Kicking off November 1, 2019
Design, deploy and analyze your own telehealth engagement and collaboration workflows without costly consulting or programming.
A collaboration between White Pine Systems (proVizor), Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) and health and social care providers from across the nation to advance a new model for telehealth to improve health outcomes and lower cost across the continuum of care.
Join the proVizor Telehealth Community Project. We are looking for health and social care providers and payers to serve as subject matter experts and to participate in use-case studies as we refine and test the features and functions of the new proVizor Telehealth Platform. We’re looking for local organizations (such as those that provide housing or food, or provide support people in offender reentry), professional organizations (such as clinics, hospitals or FQHCs), communities (consisting of providers collaborating across the continuum), and payers (particularly managed care organizations and Medicaid Advantage plans) that are at the core of telehealth innovation leadership. The problem: In the US, health and social care have traditionally operated in separate silos, with little collaboration between physical health, behavioral health and social supports. At the same time, health and social care have lagged every other industry in the use of technology to improve access, increase efficiency and lower cost. This is a part of the reason the US has the highest cost per capita and some of the poorest health and quality outcomes. Read more.
Recent developments: The time for innovation in telehealth is now. Although it hasn’t received much attention, several recent regulatory and legislative policies are promoting telehealth solutions that bridge the gaps between physical health, behavioral health and social supports and extend evidence-based practice beyond the hours and walls of the clinic. While these will take effect over the next year or more, financial programs to fund innovative telehealth solutions are available today. Read more.
Introducing the proVizor Telehealth Platform: What Wix or Square Space are to web site design, the proVizor Telehealth Platform is to telehealth. White Pine’s patent-pending platform allows health and social care clinicians and administrators to easily and efficiently create, evaluate, train for and maintain electronic workflows that reliably meet evidence-based practice, standards or regulatory requirements, and provide reliable response data without the need to engage costly consultants or programmers, thus reducing the time and cost of creating and maintaining an effective electronic workflow.
